A different kind of night time event came to life in Moors Valley Country Park & Forest in February 2012. The Electric Forest at Moors Valley will connected lighting, sound and visual art installations forming a unique forest trail. Take a walk on the wild side, navigate your way through the forest at night, where you will discover installations of light and sound punctuated by areas of darkness that will allow you to appreciate stars above you and the beauty of the silhouetted landscape around you. Follow our accessible way marked path, taking in works that promise to show you the forest in a whole new light… If you’re a runner, run or a walker, walk. Whatever your preferred mode of movement, come and enjoy the work of some of the country’s most talented outdoor artists set deep in the forest on a magical February evening. For the big and little kids amongst you some of the play areas will be illuminated for you to play and have some fun in the dark!! For the romantics amongst you Valentines Night will take place during the Electric Forest - why not take a romantic walk through the forest with your loved one.
